the rooms were reasonably large and tidy kept by the very polite staff. the location was particularly good and unbeatable, really close to the sea with easy access to a bakery and supermarkets.

I had a fantastic time staying at a lovely hotel near the sea. The location was ideal, as it was just a short walk to access a beautiful beach. Surrounded by a small forest on the bay, it provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the balcony with its wonderful view. The service was excellent, with friendly staff always ready to assist. The breakfast buffet was delicious and started my day off right.

That the Wi-fi could use some improvement.

The breakfast buffet at Boarding House Lucija was absolutely delicious. The wide variety of options, from fresh pastries to mouth-watering fish, left me satisfied and ready for the day. The terrace with its sea view made the experience even more enjoyable.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the bathroom needing some updates and the lack of WiFi connectivity, these did not detract significantly from our overall experience.

The location is ideal, just a short walk to the restaurant, Rijeka, and the beach. It's also really close to the sea. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and the rooms have central heating, multi-channel TV, and a seating area. The bathrooms are clean and have bathtubs.

Wonderful terrace, helpful English-speaking staff, delicious buffet breakfast. I had so much fun cycling around and exploring the area!

The single room I stayed in was amazing! It had a balcony with a breathtaking sea view and the air conditioning kept me cool during hot days.

Personally, I found the sofa in the twin/double room a bit uncomfortable. But it's just my opinion, others might still enjoy it.

Terrace: Sitting on the terrace at sunset, sipping a cocktail, I felt like a star on a Hollywood rooftop. The panoramic views of the sparkling sea and charming surroundings created an ambiance that was simply magical. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Kostrena.

I had a wonderful stay at Boarding House Lucija. The location was convenient, just a short walk from the sea and close to many restaurants and bars. The staff, especially Renato and Ivan, were extremely polite and friendly, always ready to assist us. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a wide variety of options including mouth-watering fish, tempting pancakes, and a good selection of gluten-free choices. The hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, and our double room was immaculate with a lovely sea-view balcony. it was a great value for money and I would definitely recommend it for a stopover or short stay.
